Industry leader seeks ELECTRONIC ENGINEER to design, develop, implement, evaluate & also introduce into the manufacture of products. We are keen to hear from ELECTRONICS ENGINEERS with skills as follows:
- Demonstrable exp of component level electronic circuit design & implementation - incl. embedded systems & firmware design / development
- Awareness of high volume surface mount process / technologies & design for high volume manufacture/
Able to understand product specifications & translate into robust product designs
- Requirements analysis & hardware / firmware specification, design & development
- C programming
- Power supply & regulation design / development
- Excellent measurement skills using electronic test equipment
- Able to generate technical reports
Tasks for this varied ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING role encompass:
* Detailed electronic circuit specification/design incl. schematic capture, new part selection, creation & circuit board requirement/design rule definition
* Embedded firmware specification, design & development; Selection/justification of systems architecture & appropriate development environments
* Support New Product Introduction for assigned projects
* Problem solving & fault diagnosis of manufactured products during product introduction - including attendance & reporting at CEM SMT builds
* Undertake all aspects of design verification/validation including preparation of test specifications, test reports & reliability testing / evaluation
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
- Design of low noise electronic circuits used to control RF & microwave subsystems
- Circuit layout/manufacturing data-pack generation
- FPGA design/development
- Multi-layer PCB layout using Altium Designer
- JTAG implementation
- Formal methods for firmware design, development & validation
- Assembler & Labview programming
- SNMP network management protocol knowledge & understanding
