GRADUATE ENGINEERS - MECHANICAL
MAJOR STEEL/METALS INDUSTRY EQUIPMENT
BASED SHEFFIELD AND STOCKTON-ON-TEES
Our client offers an IMechE accredited programme which combines personal and professional development. The Company encourages people to become chartered engineers and would assist in meeting the relevant Institution’s requirements. In line with these requirements each graduate will be allocated an experienced employee as a mentor.
The company is dedicated to the training and development of all employees. Each graduate will be trained according to their individual requirements and in the latest engineering tools applicable to their discipline along with being given background information on the technologies and processes applicable to the business. Furthermore all graduates will take part in the Company’s Graduate Development Programme.
During the training period there will be a series of objective driven project-based assignments together with at least one period of site work where the individual should strive to achieve the allocated tasks.
Graduate Project Manger (Stockton)
You will be responsible, with guidance, for the execution of projects in a professional manner to ensure all objectives are met, all risks identified and managed. The programme will prepare you to fill the role of an Assistant Project Manager which will be based in Stockton, although overseas travel and site work will play a major part of this job role.
It would be advantageous to have an awareness of risk management with the ability to assess potential risks within a project
Graduate Mechanical/Fluid Construction (Sheffield)
You will be trained in the latest engineering tools e.g. AutoCAD, 3D and Solid Edge and will be involved in all aspects of mechanical/Fluid Construction and Installation on major capital equipment for the Metals Industry worldwide. Working as part of a team you will be expected to take responsibility, under guidance, for part of that project, and you would be involved from the design concept through to on site commissioning at the Client’s works.
The roles will included extensive overseas travel for extended periods of time, in which you will carry out inspections/oversee client installation techniques and give instruction to on correct procedures. This is an ideal opportunity for you to assimilate considerable overview knowledge of operating equipment used on Plate Mills and other associated steelworks areas.
Graduate Mechanical Engineer (Sheffield)
You will be involved in all aspects of mechanical design: producing layouts, calculations, detail drawings and associated engineering information on major projects for the Metals Industry worldwide.
This is an ideal opportunity for you to assimilate considerable overview knowledge of operating equipment used on Plate Mills and other associated steelworks areas.
Graduate Mechanical Engineer (Stockton)
You will work as part of a team in the design and supply of plant and equipment for ironmaking, steelmaking and continuous casting projects. You will also provide technical support to the sales team during negotiations with potential clients through the engineering phase to on site commissioning at the Client’s works.

You will be involved in all aspects of mechanical design: producing layouts, calculations, detail drawings and associated engineering information on major projects for the Metals Industry worldwide.
