INSTRUMENT DESIGN ENGINEER / CLEVELAND / TO £45K

* Our client has an exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated & innovative Instrument Design Engineer to help deliver the next generation of Instruments
* Reporting to the Technology Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of the instrument design lifecycle, from concept to user support, liaising with colleagues, customers & suppliers to create leading edge instruments
* We are keen to hear from enthusiastic INSTRUMENT DESIGN ENGINEERS with electronics & software skills
* Some experience of instrument design essential
* Experience in the repair / modification of electronic equipment advantageous
* Role includes preparing specifications, planning development, sensor design, data acquisition, processing & presentation, communications networks & protocols, printed circuit board design, software design / firmware design, testing & plant trials, documentation & user training
* You will remain up to date with new developments in the electronics & computing industry & acquire the ability to design to intrinsic safety, electrical safety & electromagnetic compatibility standards
