An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Supervisor to join a major European supplier of cast rolls to the metal working industry worldwide.
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the planning and supervision of day-to-day maintenance tasks. This is a supervisory role and you will be expected to offer coaching and guidance to a team of twenty-three. You will also be expected to collect and interpret machine performance data from a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) and produce/lead performance improvement plans and monitor progression to plan and exception reporting.
It is likely you will come from a hands-on background having completed either a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship or be of HNC level with good practical skills.
A sound knowledge of machine tools and overhead travelling cranes would be a distinct advantage, as you will be expected to give technical support to your team as required. In order to achieve this effectively, strong leadership skills are paramount as is the ability to guide and coach members through change.
Experience of continuous improvement is desirable.
